About

I am a culmination of idealistic notions and jumbled logic, gift wrapped in a haze of sleep deprivation and apathy. My home is a trench of wasted talent and leaky pens that live among scribbles, dots, and dashes. I am determined to mow the green grass on the other side, tap into my pipe dreams, and create craters on the moon -not in any particular order or fashion, of course. I counter the counterculture's culture yet ride on the backs of conformists. If presented with a good enough reason, I would leave it all behind without ever turning back.

So I'm kind of worried.

My dad’s in Wisconsin right now. His flight to Milwaukee was late so now he has to drive two hours from Milwaukee to Green Bay. There are no other connecting flights from Milwaukee to Green Bay so he has no other options. Wisconsin is really cold and I’m scared the roads might be icy. He doesn’t have good night vision and he’s all alone in an unfamiliar state - which makes things even worse.

When my mom got home and told me, she made me pray with her. I did as she asked, but I’m scared my pleas will go unheard. Even if there is indeed someone up there, I doubt he’d listen to someone like me.
